Arnold The Fish went to the police station.

“Hello? I’m looking for Chief Inspector Ben Ruefoot,” said Arnold.
“What do you want?” asked Ruefoot.
“Have you found anything out in the Humpty Dumpty case?” Arnold asked.

The Chief Inspector thought for a moment.

“I think he did it because… because…”
“Because?” offered Arnold.
“…Because HE wanted to marry Minnie!”

“Oh,” said Arnold, and he went home to write it on his bit of paper.

1. Humpty killed Mickey because he broke Mrs. AOW’s window.
2. He wanted to marry Minnie.

“I need some more paper,” said Arnold.
