"Right," said Arnold, "I'll stay here, you go into the other room and see if I'm there too."
"Okay" Captain Spanner said, and left the room.
Just after the door closed behind him, a small beetle came scuttling through a crack in
the wall. The beetle was carrying the missing watch!
Arnold looked down at the beetle.
The beetle looked up at Arnold.
"Oh shucks!" cursed the beetle.
"That room is empty now!" declared Captain Spanner as he re-entered the room. "Hey,
that's my watch!"
"Allow me to explain," said the bright green parrot…
