Part 11: Points Of View

Arnold The Fish sat at home watching the television.

“Hello,” said Terry Wogan, “And welcome to Points Of View!”

“Hello!” said Arnold, who occasionally talked at the television.

“We start today with a few letters concerning the recent developments in Arnold The Fish!” said Terry Wogan. “Young Millicent from Torquay writes to express her concern that Arnold The Fish would simply give up on the case and go home just because he was threatened. She says it’s hardly the mark of a hero, is it?”

Arnold muttered to himself.

“And here’s a letter from Thomas in Berkshire.” continued Terry Wogan. “He writes to say that he doesn’t really understand what is happening in this story, but surely Arnold wins in the end, right? Well, Thomas, it certainly doesn’t look that way right now. It does indeed appear that Arnold will be letting down his legions of young fans and-”

Arnold clicked the television off.

“Ida,” said Arnold. “I’m coming to save you!”
